Crowne Plaza Airport, an IHG Hotel

I booked a night at the hotel for my 12hr layover and it was perfect! The hotel is close to the airport and there is a shuttle that picks you up at arrivals zone 4. The pool was lovely and the room was clean.

The room was quiet and spacious, which is why we always stay here when we drop into Panama City.

The hotel is so near the airport that you feel like it is inside the airport. The shuttle is there every hour. We had dinner there (not complimentary) and felt that it was good. Every service person there was very polite and nice.

Everything was great, dinner and breakfast staff extremely friendly and professional. Plenty of choices, food choices weren't over the top but good for a midrange airport hotel of this type and great flavors and very fresh. Free shuttle was convenient. I've been living in Panama for 10 years and English isn't even my first language, but since I look like I just arrived here, some people insist talking English to me, but that's understandable, I'll always stay a foreigner. The 24 hour Gym was great and well equipped. Most hotels economize on the gym area. I want to emphasize again how excellent most of the staff was, that is very very rare in Panama!

Very convenient to the airport, and we appreciated that the restaurant was open late as we arrived late and very hungry! Food was good (depending on what you order- the Panamanian food was delicious). Rooms were clean and nice, staff were friendly, and there is a beautiful pool that we unfortunately did not have time to enjoy.
